The annual Installation of Officers Dinner is set for Friday, June 9, 2017 at the lovely Medford Lakes Country Club in Medford, NJ. The festivities get underway at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, followed by Mr. Heinold’s swearing in at 7 p.m. by the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder, A.J.S.C. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy live music during cocktails, sumptuous stations and open bar all evening.
Douglas Heinold, Partner at the law firm of Raymond Coleman Heinold LLP, takes the reigns from Elizabeth Garcia, Shareholder and Chair of the Labor and Employment Department at the law firm of Parker McCay, P.A.
Oaths of office will also be administered to the officers and trustees of the Association and Foundation for the 2017-18 year. The new slate of officers for the Bar Association is: Jennifer Stonerod, President-elect; Pamela A. Mulligan, Vice President; Joan M. Burke, Treasurer; and Reema Scaramella, Secretary. New and reappointed trustees include: Kim C. Belin, John L. Laskey, Samantha J. Vander Wielen and James M. Vogdes, III. Matthew J. Schorr will serve as Young Lawyer Trustee for a two-year term alongside Mark R. Natale. Stephanie Shreter will be installed as President of the Burlington County Bar Foundation.
After earning a B.A. in English and Sociology from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in 1993, Douglas Heinold attended Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, where he served as Articles Editor for the Computer and Technology Law Journal and earned his Juris Doctor in 1996. Following graduation, he served a clerkship with the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder (now Assignment Judge), New Jersey Superior Court, Burlington County.
Upon completion of his clerkship, Heinold went on to work for Parker McCay & Criscuolo (now Parker McCay) in Marlton, where he worked until 2009. In 2009, Heinold joined the law firm of Raymond & Coleman as a Partner. The firm is now known as Raymond Coleman Heinold LLP and is located in Moorestown, NJ. Mr. Heinold focuses his practice in the areas of Local Government Law, Land Use (Planning and Zoning), Real Estate, Contract Law and Litigation.
A member of the Burlington County Bar Association since 1997, Heinold has served on the Board of Trustees since 2006, beginning as Young Lawyer Trustee. He has served on the Local Government Committee since 1997, and has chaired the Committee since 2005. Heinold also served as President of the Burlington County Bar Foundation for Bar year 2010-2011 and remains a Foundation Board member. Mr. Heinold was awarded the Bar Association’s Robert W. Criscuolo Award in 2007 for service to the profession and community.
In addition to his involvement in the Burlington County Bar, Mr. Heinold is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; the Technical Support Group, Pinelands Commission Southern; serves a Trustee for the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys; and served on the Technical Support Group for the Evesham-Medford Sub-Regional Natural Resource Protection Plan.
Heinold was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, for the District of New Jersey in 1996. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2012 and holds a Diplomate in New Jersey Municipal Law from Rutgers University.
